Note | Encompasses a little more than 4,000 acres. This WMA lies on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is primarily forested. Recent timber harvesting has created approximately 70 acres of hardwood forest regeneration habitat. Numerous parking areas and a very good system of access trails exist on the area. A 10 acre lake on the area provides good stocked trout fishing and waterfowl hunting opportunities. |
