NoteThis WMA is among the smallest, encompassing approximately 301 acres. It contains a wide array of wildlife habitat ranging from floodplain hardwoods to upland oak hickory forests. Nearly 1/3 of the WMA is managed as early-successional (grassland, shrub, and young forest) habitat. The WMA borders Marine Base Quantico on two sides and includes approximately 1 mile of frontage on Cedar Run, which provides waterfowl hunting and angling opportunities. All Hunting is through VDGIF's Quota Hunting program #303, Multi-species Hunt and Series #404, Spring Turkey Hunt. Hunters are selected by random drawing and assigned specific hunt days or hunt segments.
