NoteDoe Creek WMA is composed mostly of upland pine and hardwood mixed forest. The 447-acre tract also includes managed impoundments which provide hunters with the opportunity to harvest waterfowl. Doe Creek and the adjacent Mink Farm Tract are open for archery deer hunting during the archery season.During the Muzzleloader season deer hunting on both Doe Creek and Mink Farm WMA are managed through the Department's Quota System and are closed to general visitation except for Sundays. Following Muzzleloader Quota, the Mink Farm tract is open without quota restriction to Archery deer; and any small game and woodcock in season with the exception of quail. The Doe Creek tract is closed through the duck season except as listed below. Waterfowl hunting at Doe Creek WMA is open to walk-in hunting on Saturday's only for ½ days during the last two segments of the general waterfowl season. Hunters may hunt until 1:00 PM and must have all decoys up and be away from the impoundments by 2:00 PM. The area is open on Sundays for scouting and wildlife viewing.
